The purpose of the Finnish Media Art Network is to increase cooperation between actors in the field. The association promotes the cultural and social status of media art in Finland, and creates and maintains domestic and international connections.
The Finnish Media Art Network was founded in December 2009 and registered on 24 September 2010.
In 2021–2023, the activities of the Media Art Network are focusing on the project MEHI – Media Art History in Finland.
